Description
Lewis Archibald, a journalist who wrote for the magazine "Downtown," interviews Daniel Day-Lewis, an English actor. Day-Lewis talks about his theatre, television and film career, and the roles he played in various productions such as Romeo in the 1983 Royal Shakespeare Company production of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," Johnny in "My beautiful laundrette", a 1985 British comedy-drama film, and Cecil Vyse in the British romance drama film "A room with a view" (1985). He also discusses his personal and professional relationships with various film directors and producers such as Stephen Frears and James Ivory, and the differences in theatrical and dramatic acting techniques.
