Nina Vyroubova speaks with Nancy Reynolds about her childhood in Paris; seeing Anna Pavlova dance; studying with her mother and with Vera Trefilova; dancing with L'Opéra Russe d'Algeranoff; dancing in Nikita Balieff's [Balīev's] Chauve-Souris Company [Teatr "Letuchai︠a︡ myshʹ"]; World War II; Olga Preobrajenska; Roland Petit's Les forains; joining the Paris Opéra Ballet [Opéra de Paris ballet]; Serge Lifar; joining Les Ballets de Marquis de Cuevas [Grand Ballet de Monte Carlo; later the Ballet International de la Marquis de Cuevas; disbanded in 1962]; her favorite ballets.
