(ca. 87 min.) / moderator: Lisa Traiger (The Washington Post, From The Green Room, Washington Jewish Week) ; panel: Vitolio Jeune (Garth Fagan Dance, former finalist "So You Think You Can Dance"), Kate Lydon (Dance Media), Tonya Plank (blogger - Swan Lake Samba Girl), Adam Sklute (Ballet West). Panelists discuss their involvement in various dance reality programs and how their careers and career aspirations were effected by their involvement, the factors leading to Ballet West's involvement in the BBC-produced reality program Breaking Pointe, relationship between dance publications and dance television shows (both documentary-style and scripted programs). Excerpts of Breaking Pointe and the dance reality webseries Dance 212 are screened and discussed.
