Description
Documentary on the life and 45-year-long performing career of British ballerina Margot Fonteyn, who narrates the film from her cattle farm in Panama. Commentaries by Ninette de Valois, Frederick Ashton, Robert Helpmann, Rudolf Nureyev, and others are interspersed with footage illustrating important roles and significant moments in her life, culminating with her 60th birthday gala performance at Covent Garden in 1979.
