Description
Company archivist David Vaughan describes this series, organized by Robert Swinston, as a "living archival presentation" of Merce Cunningham's choreography. This program focuses on Cunningham's work from the 1950s and features excerpts of Totem Ancestor, Septet, Suite for Five, Summerspace and Rune performed by MCDC and RUGs dancers. Each performance is followed by a panel discussion featuring David Behrman, Carolyn Brown and Merce Cunningham.
