Sound quality is fair. The recording is marred by extraneous noise including "tape hiss" and occasional short gaps, but the speakers' voices are easily intelligible.

Abstract

Interview with Dennis Wayne conducted by John Gruen on August 2, 1975, as research for an article in The New York Times. The article, entitled A feisty young dancer with a company of his own, appeared in The New York Times on August 31, 1975. Streaming file (approximately 35 minutes).
