Marian Horosko, as host, introduces her guest Ted Shawn; Ted Shawn speaks with Horosko about Christina Schlundt's book entitled:The professional appearances of Ted Shawn & his men dancers; a chronology and an index of dances, 1933-1940 (1967), and the pioneering role of his all-male company ; Jacob's Pillow and nearby cultural institutions including South Mountain [Concert Hall]; the architecture of the theater at Jacob's Pillow; the many world premieres and company debuts that took place at Jacob's Pillow; plans for the first few weeks of the upcoming season; subsidies and grants.
