Panelists trace the evolution of Revelations over the years and share their perceptions of Ailey as an artist and an individual. -- Panel II: The survival of Revelations. Moderator: Sally R. Sommer. Panelists: Roger Bellamy, Masazumi Chaya, Hope Clarke, Linda Kent, Sylvia Waters, Dudley Williams, and Donna Wood Sanders. Later productions of Revelations, and the transmission of its choreography from dancer to dancer are discussed. -- Reel 3: Panel II, continued. Panelists recall memorable performances of Revelations in the U.S. and abroad.

A symposium of The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and Dance Theater Foundation in conjunction with the exhibition Body and soul: the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
