Abstract

Ishmael Houston-Jones' original Parallels project took place at Danspace Project in 1982 and featured post-modern African-American choreographers Ralph Lemon, Bebe Miller, Blondell Cummings, Fred Holland, Rrata Christine Jones, Gus Solomons jr., and the late Harry Whittaker Sheppard. -- from Danspace Project program notes.
