Notes
Source identifier: 24311a (Hades Legacy Identifier / Struc ID)
Content: "Tuxedo", as used here, seems to mean the large folded-back "lapels" of the cape, reminiscent of the similar wide lapels on a man's formal jacket. "Faille" is a closely-woven, slightly ribbed fabric made of cotton or silk. "Caracul" is Persian lamb, or a textile made to resemble it. Note the extravagant hat and the back of the collar of the cape, worked to look like a bow.
Content: Image includes small sketch of back of garment.
Content: Written on image: "designed by Pearl Alexander" "André 570 - 7th Ave. New York City Feb. 17, 1941"
