Abstract

Part 1. Leida Snow interviews Jack Viertel, creative director of the Jujamcyn Theaters. Viertel talks about his career and his vision of contemporary musical theater on Broadway; about various productions that he directed and produced, and how to make them more attractive to a wider audience. Part 2. Leida Snow interviews Paul Libin, producing director of the Jujamcyn Theaters, who talks about various plays that he produced on and off Broadway; about his collaboration with other Broadway producers and directors, and with The Shubert Organization, another major owner of theatres based in Manhattan, New York City.
