Description
Interview with Leon Fokine conducted by Marian Horosko for a series of articles entitled In the shadow of Russian tradition, which appeared in Dance magazine. Streaming audio file (approximately 28 minutes). Leon Fokine speaks with Marian Horosko about the theater and other enterprises of his father in Russia before and after the Russian Revolution; training at the Mariinsky Theatre and performing with Pierre Vladimiroff and Anatole Oboukhoff; his uncle, Mikhail (Michel) Fokine; his career as a performer and teacher.
