Description
Original unedited interview with the legendary American lyricist Johnny Mercer. Mercer speaks about his career as a songwriter and lyricist. He talks about his favorite songwriters, what inspired hit songs like Jeepers Creepers and Lazybones, and what being a Southerner means to him. He discusses such topics as his childhood in Savannah, Georgia, partnerships with colleagues, the craft of lyric writing, and his views on contemporary songwriting and young songwriters, who start their careers in this field.
