Description
Marion North, director of the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance in London, gives a brief biography of Rudolf Laban and his work both in Germany and England. She reminisces about her studies with him, which led to her special field of interest, the assessment of psychological states through movement, particularly in babies and young children. She discusses the role of dance in integrating a person's cerebral and physical selves, thus enhancing the ability to learn and encouraging creativity.
