Description
In celebration of composer/songwriter Cole Porter's centennial, host Goldstein and singer Feinstein dissect the works and life of the great composer. To animate the narration, Feinstein performs excerpts from Porter's works and two songs ("Down in the depths" and "It's all right with me") accompanied by the piano. Goldstein continues to deliver more biographical facts from Porter's life followed by the recordings of "I've got you under my skin" (performed by Young with MacKenzie Trio) and "I get a kick out of you" (performed by Callaway with MacKenzie Trio). He concludes the program with announcements of events commemorating Cole Porter in various venues in the country.
