Abstract

A rustic celebration taking place in an enclosed courtyard: tipsy revelers at a dinner table at right, a man playing a biniou, the bagpipe of the Breton peasant, at left. Two men and a woman perform a circle dance in a small clearing, their backs to each other, their hands linked together by means of handkerchiefs.
