Extent: 1 videocassette (VHS) (91 min.) : sound, color ; 1/2 in.
Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project in performance. Baryshnikov solos in "Peccadillos", performs a duet with Emily Coates in "The Argument", and dances with the company in "For the Love of Rehearsal" and "Concerto". The performance takes place in an original Roman amphitheater; stage lighting is used between choreographic works instead of curtains. Very poor visual quality throughout, with a lack of sharpness and the camera distant from the stage. Unique performance due to the venue and the performance of "The Argument" as a duet. There are several frames of the dancers warming up at the end of the recording.
