Description
WNBC-TV program dedicated to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, a Jewish holiday. Includes interview with rabbi D. Golovensky, who gives a description of the meaning of the holiday, the prayers Kol nidre and others sung by the tenor Jan Peerce and choir, and a speech by then Israeli Ambassador to the UN Chaim Herzog on High holidays, and on the political situation of Soviet Jews and their struggle for the right to immigrate to Israel.
