Image depicts a brown monkey in the role of "ballet master"; he wears human clothes including a high-collared overcoat, a plumed hat, and knee-length breeches with a ribbon at the knee and a sword. He leads another smaller, (unclothed) monkey with one hand and holds a pochette in his other hand.
