Abstract

Thanks the Governor and [Richard] Peters for steps towards laying in a magazine of provisions; approves of the deposits being made at McDowel's Mill instead of Shippensburg; he has sent him an express with bills on England for £4,000 sent by Gov. [James] Glen; on notice he will send draughts on Franklin for further sums; has ordered out a guard for the people working on the new road.
