Description
Raw recording of the benefit. Composer and pianist Dick Hyman takes the reins of the evening with his own music, his inventive piano variations/improvisations of other people's music and his sparkling commentary between pieces, sometimes talking with host John Schaefer and NMYE board head Claire Rosengarten. Baritone Keith Phares replaced tenor Robert White due to illness. File 2 contains mostly rehearsal recordings and backstage commentary before the event.
