Ceremony for the presentation of the 1956 Dance Magazine awards, recorded on February 19, 1957, and broadcast by radio station WNYC-FM on its series Today in ballet. Speakers include Agnes de Mille (award recipient), Paul G. Hoffman, Katharine Cornell, and Martha Graham (award recipient). The unidentified female speaker who introduces Paul G. Hoffman, Katharine Cornell, and Martha Graham may be Jean Gordon.
