Notes
Content: The aerial identification stripes on one of the ship's forward turrets show that it was participating in the Neutrality Patrol during the Spanish Civil War when this photo was taken. The distinctive gondola-like boat below the battleship suggests the location is the British fleet base of Malta. There exists spectacular film footage of the "Barham" turning over and exploding while still steaming ahead.
