Abstract

Marjorie Gateson, a stage and film actress, a friend and colleague of Bobby Clark, a famous actor/comedian, remembers him as a shy and hardworking man who possessed such contradictory qualities as compassion and insensitivity, generosity and frugality, lack of humor off stage and comic acting talent, and recollects many incidents and encounters with Bobby Clark.
