DescriptionInterviews with Stuart Hodes conducted by Lucile Brahms Nathanson, as host, for broadcast by WHPC-FM, the radio station of Nassau Community College, on its series Making the dance scene. The date of the interviews is not indicated, but both were probably conducted in the 1970s.

[Music.] Lucile Brahms Nathanson introduces the program Making the dance scene, and her guest Stuart Hodes; Hodes speaks with Nathanson about the department of dance at the School of the Arts at New York University [renamed the Tisch School of the Arts in 1982] including its physical location and the other (arts-related) departments located there; the extent of interaction among the departments; the student body of the dance department; the principles that guide his direction of the department including an emphasis on professional careers; the funding of dance groups and academic performance venues [closing remarks and music].
