Abstract

Sidney Blackmer, an actor and admirer of Bobby Clark, actor/comedian, acquainted with him when both served on the board of the Episcopal Actors' Guild, fondly remembers Clark as a complete metamorphosis: a talented performer able to capture the audience with his energy, comic talent and youthfulness from the moment he entered the stage, but a dignified, reserved and quiet man off the stage who was almost a recluse and enigma.
