Description
The enemy having landed at Wilmington, his family are now their prisoners and his property is at their command; he had thought it necessary to remove from the Sound, as the salt works made that situation obnoxious; his family will be safer under a commanding officer than if exposed to plundering parties; does not know where he shall go; he carries his all about him.
