Interview with dancer-choreographer Robert Small, focusing on the "informances" (informal performance/demonstrations) that he presents in the community as a means of introducing new audiences to dance. He is seen performing in Vermont for groups of various ages, among them high school students, senior citizens, and factory workers, as well as rehearsing for a performance with the Vermont Symphony and teaching movement to drama students at Trinity College. He discusses his use of dance as a means of communication, and notes the various responses he has received.
