Apparently the phone number and sponsoring body for this artwork had been painted at the bottom and was not visible from the street-level. This photograph shows the beginning of the phone "1-" but the rest is obscured. The phone number was for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's AIDS hotline, 1-800-342-AIDS.
