Content: Izen performs two piano solos: Villa-Lobos' Polichinelle and Debussy's L'île joyeuse, the latter combined with graphics. Also includes a conversation with animal puppet, Theodore "Butch" Bear.

Description
A look at the work of puppeteer, painter, and concert pianist Marshall Izen as seen through the eyes of his 14-year-old nephew Larry Abrahams. Izen performs several hand ballets: a sequence set to Beethoven's Symphony no. 1 (last movement), The tortoise and the hare, and Homage to Picasso. The latter combines a hand ballet and graphics set to a Bach fugue for 2 pianos.
