Description
Richard Rodgers, a prominent composer best known for his songwriting partnerships with the lyricists Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II, speaks about forced (by film studios) competitions among writers and composers and hence pressure they go through; integrity of a composer as the main key to success; his work with Oscar Hammerstein on famous musicals "Oklahoma" and "Carousel"; his work on the film "Love me tonight" directed by Rouben Mamoulian; and other works of his productive career.
