Description
Martin Bookspan interviews American lyricist Carolyn Leigh during an undated broadcast. Leigh speaks about her life and her career as a lyricist for Broadway, movies, and popular songs. She comments on her lyrics for Broadway shows such as Peter Pan, Wildcat, Little me, and films such as The Cardinal (1963) and Father Goose (1964); on the craft of lyric writing; and on partnerships with colleagues.
