Description
Lon Clark, an actor, namesake and an associate of Bobby Clark, comedian, recalls many anecdotes from his encounters with Bobby Clark at the Players (a famous actors' club in NYC) and during Pipe Nights there (celebrations honoring an artist's contribution to society). He comments on Clark's secretiveness about his past, his extreme frugality, his sense of perfection and enthusiasm for learning, his pride for being on board of directors at the Players and his disappointment at being dismissed from it, and his keen understanding of business. The interview consists of two parts totaling 85 min. The third part (14 min.) contains unrelated material to the interview (several takes of a commercial for the automobile Imperial).
