Description
Lewis Archibald, a journalist who wrote for the magazine "Downtown," interviews Irish-American actress Geraldine Fitzgerald. She discusses her family background, her acting career, and the roles she played in various stage, film and television productions, such as Geraldine Fitzgerald in the 1976 Broadway production of the "Songs of the street" (a one-woman evening of personally selected music and stories), and the role of Grandma Carr in the 1977 Australian drama film "Mango tree," directed by Kevin Dobson (for which she received an Australian Film Institute "Best Actress" nomination), that was recently released.
