A "visual symphony" interpreting Camille Saint-Saëns' Danse macabre, performed by Adolf Bolm (Youth), Ruth Page (Love), and Olin Howland (Death) -- Adolf Bolm, the international dancer: short film clips showing Bolm in some of his most famous interpretations (still photographs), at his studio with students, wearing a mask made by Helmut Schmidt -- Members of the Bolm Ballet perform the Sunlight dance, Voices of spring (Inspired by Botticelli), and a modern number. Vera Mirowa is seen in a Javanese court dance.
