Description
Restaurateur Joe Allen, owner of Manhattan eateries that cater to theater professionals and theatergoers alike, is interviewed by food critic Alex Witchel. He discusses his early life, his career, and the changes in the midtown theater district he has observed since opening his first restaurant in 1965. He reminisces about theater people he has known, such as Chita Rivera, as well as his famous collection of posters celebrating infamous Broadway flops.
