Description
Historical map of the southern states from Texas in the west to Florida and the Carolinas in the east, extending as far north as the Missouri River. Also shows parts of Mexico and the very top of Cuba. Map includes many early roads and Indian villages in Texas, early French forts along the Mississippi Valley and interesting annotations including the boundary statement, "Limit of King Charles II granted to the present proprietors of Carolina in 1663."Relief shown pictorially. Prime meridians: west from London.
