Brendel discusses the composers, whose music he likes to play such as Haydn, Liszt, Schubert, Beethoven and about various aspects of their musical works; his writings; his concert [1985] tour in the USA; and his new recordings. Recordings of Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, and Liszt piano works performed by Brendel solo as well as with orchestra are played during the interview.
