Lois Smith, veteran stage and screen performer with credits dating back to the 1950s, discusses her career with interviewer Linda Winer. She talks about her roles in noted films such as East of Eden (1954) and Five easy pieces (1970), her work in live television drama in the medium's early days, and her extensive career in contemporary plays, such as Craig Lucas' I was most alive with you. She also takes questions from members of the audience.
