Description
Illustrations of contemporary women's fashions, including dresses for various occasions, hats, accessories, and coiffures, usually with identification of the modistes, milliners, or hairstylists who created the objects. Most of the prints in this collection were published in Paris from the 1830s to the 1850s; only two examples include the artists' names. The collection is arranged alphabetically by caption title.
