Program on the essence and spirit of Haiku, a 17-syllable Japanese poetic form, and its aesthetic relationship to other Japanese arts such as haiga (a haiku drawing), ikebana (flower arrangement), the tea ceremony, and koto music. Japanese actress Kyoko Kagawa reads several Haiku, artist Nanae Momiyama paints several haiga, and Namino Torii performs a koto solo.
