Description
Unidentified BBC radio host talks about the racism in the British and American theater, and the way of black, Indian and other minority actors and actresses to London and New York stages, such as Jamaican-born actress Yvonne Brewster, and, on the other hand, about the problems of white actors to get ethnic roles. Includes interview with Leida Snow who speaks about Jonathan Pryce, a Welsh actor and singer, who was rejected by Actors Equity in New York from the role of Eurasian Engineer in the Broadway production of the musical Miss Saigon, and had to move to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London to play it.
