Date: Silent film originally photographed in 1964 ; transferred to videotape with titles added in 1995 by the Dance Collection. Opening credits begin at the 3 minute mark on streaming video file.
Content: Accompanied by house programs.
Performers: Danced by the Kirov Ballet.
Venue: Filmed in performance at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, in September 1964.
Funding: Preservation of these films photographed by Dr. Michael Truppin was made possible through the cooperation of Andrea Truppin, Nicola Truppin, Dr. Ada Truppin, and the Jerome Robbins Archive of the Recorded Moving Image of the Dance Collection of The New York Public Library, with the support of Paul Lepercq.
