Venue: Videotaped in dress rehearsal for the Jerome Robbins Archive in Theatre A, State University of New York Performing Arts Center, Purchase, New York, on March 4, 1992, by Jay Millard, with the assistance of grants from New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Creation/Production Credits: Choreography: Michael Smuin, staged by Robert Sund and Evelyn Cisneros. Music: Samuel Barber (Medea Suite, Op. 23). Scenery: Norman Rizzi after Gustav Klimt. Costumes: Andy Kay. Lighting: Sara Linnie Slocum.
Performers: Performed by members of Dance Theatre of Harlem: Lisa Attles (Medea), Donald Williams (Jason), Lawrence de Maeyer and Calvin Shawn Landers (sons), and Tai Jimenez (princess).
Funding: Preservation of this video was supported by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
