Philip Sterling, the writer and public relations executive who worked for the Columbia Broadcasting System for many years, conducts discussion with various performing arts people, who recall African American entertainer Bert Williams, one of the pre-eminent entertainers of the Vaudeville era and one of the most popular comedians for all audiences of his time (the beginning of the 20th century).Part 2. Brief recording of radio commercials.Part 3. Audio recording of various radio programs broadcast on CBS in the 1950's including Robert Q. Lewis comedy show.Part 4. Philip Sterling interviews unidentified interviewer who recalls Bert Williams.
