Creation/production credits: Produced by Theaterschool Amsterdam in collaboration with the Centraal Dansberaad, the Hague. Directed by Wilbert Bank, Jan Kassies, Louki van Oven, and Eefje van Schaik.

Content: Part I (22 min.) is about Sonia Gaskell's youth in Russia and her years in Palestine and Paris. Includes film footage of Lubov Egorova teaching a ballet class (ca. 1969 at about age 89).
Content: Part II (45 min.) concerns her emigration in 1938 to Holland, her career there as a teacher and choreographer, and the formation of the Nederlands Ballet in 1954.
Content: Part III (56 min.) continues with the evolution of Dutch ballet and the formation of the National Ballet in 1961 with Gaskell as artistic director.
