An unidentified host interviews Ping Chong, American contemporary theater director, choreographer, and video and installation artist. Chong discusses his production of the play Deshima, a documentary collage of the history of the West and Japan. The interview includes excerpts from the show produced at the Sterrenbos Studio, Utrecht, Holland, May 19, [1990].
