Abstract

The Improvisation Project perform at Jacob's Pillow, followed by an audience Q&A. Steve Paxton talks about contact improvisation while the remaining dancers demonstrate this concept through movement. The group refer to this as their third performance (another is captured on *MGZIDF 406); this improvisation begins as a group work that evolves into pair and solo pieces. Overall visual quality fine; audio captures distant highway noise and audience activity.
