Description
Arnold Michaelis talks about six sides of Leonard Bernstein: conductor, composer, pianist, educator, author, and television personality, during one of the series of WNYC radio programs "Music with Arnold Michaelis." Includes excerpts from the interview with Bernstein who talks about his musical career and his influences such as another conductor, Bruno Walter; a brief recording of the first of his six talks at the Harvard University (November 1973); about his musical works. Excerpts from various of his works are played during the program.
