Physical Description
Videocassette
Extent: 1 videocassette (VHS) (110 min.) : sound, color ; 1/2 in.
Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project dance in "Canonic 3/4 Studies", "Punch and Judy Get a Divorce" and "Waiting for the Sunrise". Solo performances include Baryshnikov in "Ten Suggestions" and Nancy Colahan in "Harmonica Breakdown". In a remarkable 'first', perhaps tied to the end of this particular tour, the company performs a post-curtain call encore. After reprising the final two segments of "Waiting for the Sunrise", streamers and confetti rain down from the ceiling and over the dancers. The audience is delightfully receptive to the encore and this celebratory atmosphere.
